It works for everyone except a few people.
It works, but only when it wants. Most of the time, it doesn't. And it has been a more recent problem that keeps repeating.
It always works for me and almost everyone else who uses this script except a few people. I can't help it. You've made your point, so just don't use this script and maybe ask someone else in the forum to write a better script.

Due to how often it breaks to everyone, how inconsistent is the cause of it, and how unexplained is what (temporarily) fixes it, I'd advice remaking the script (and perhaps make it simpler and annotate?)
