Are you sure the problem wasn't that I was pulling jQuery via http instead of https? (Now fixed in v3.) I tested this on a Disqus-using site which allows http and https and it worked fine. Furthermore, I searched a bit on @grant and didn't see anything https-related.

Works great but you need to add a https grant as some sites use disqus over https. Thanks!
