I found this on another script.

You can redirect this

to this
https://s3.amazonaws.com/data.tumblr.com/4afc85aa251e0a07ec68da479dfb907b/tumblr_oyinpbfsp91ti6w0wo1_raw.jpg

Don't know if it's permanent but this is better if you use "https everywhere" extension.

So does the extension automatically turn them into https?
Does it have to be amazonaws.com to properly be https? personally I like the media.tumblr.com string but. I am not sure if that aspect matters much though

Yes it will automatically redirect them to https which will give me a certificate error. It's inconvenient to disable things every time. Plus I find it annoyingly difficult to configure.
