🏎️ Torn Racing Guide (Advanced Meta & Auto-Scanner)

An all-in-one, in-game racing companion for Torn City. This script replaces outdated spreadsheets and forum posts by injecting an interactive, draggable overlay directly into your Racing page. It provides you with the definitive Grando Meta track builds, optimal point progression paths, and an advanced Auto-Scanner to prevent you from wasting points on the wrong upgrades.

✨ Key Features

  • 📍 Track Auto-Detection: Automatically detects the track when you join or create a race and instantly highlights the optimal car and tuning setup for that specific track.
  • 📚 Complete Track Database: Instant access to the best Class A cars and their precise tuning codes (e.g., TS2, TL3, DS3) for every track in Torn.
  • 📈 Optimized Class Progression: Stop wasting racing points! Features exact, point-for-point custom builds for lower classes (E, D, C, and B) so you can reach Class A with maximum points saved.
  • 🔍 Inline Auto-Scanner: Integrated directly into the Upgrades menu. Select a track or custom tuning preset, and the scanner will color-code your parts list so you know exactly what to buy.
  • 💾 Custom Templates: Not following the meta? Build your own custom loadouts and save them directly in your browser to easily pull them up later.
  • 🌙 Modern Dark Mode UI: A sleek, draggable interface that stays out of your way and matches Torn's dark mode aesthetic.

🛠️ The Auto-Scanner: How it Works

When you visit the Upgrades tab for any of your cars, the Auto-Scanner control panel will automatically appear above your parts list.

Simply select the track you are building for from the dropdown, and the scanner will automatically apply the optimal Meta tuning filters (Surface, Ratio, Turbo). Once enabled, it overlays the following color codes onto the Torn interface:

  • 🟩 Green (Required, Fitted): This part is required for your build and is already on the car. Good to go!
  • 🟦 Blue (Required, Missing): This part is required for your build, but you haven't bought it yet. Buy this!
  • 🟥 Red (Wrong Part / Trap): This part is NOT part of the meta build (e.g., Safety upgrades, Gaskets, wrong tires), but it is currently fitted to your car.

Note: You can override the meta auto-loader at any time by manually clicking the Tarmac/Dirt, Short/Long, or Turbo 2/3 buttons to highlight parts for a custom build.

📖 Tuning Legend Shorthand

If you are unfamiliar with modern racing abbreviations, the script uses the standard community shorthand:

CodeMeaning
TTarmac (Adjustable Coilover Suspension, Track Tires)
DDirt (Group N Rally Suspension, Rally Tires)
SShort Ratio (Paddle Shift/Rally Gearbox Short Ratio)
LLong Ratio (Paddle Shift/Rally Gearbox Long Ratio)
2Turbo 2 (Stage Two Turbo Kit + Stage 3 ECU Remap)
3Turbo 3 (Stage Three Turbo Kit)

⚙️ Installation Instructions

  2. Click the green Install this script button on this page.
  3. Confirm the installation in your script manager.
  4. Navigate to the City -> Racing page in Torn. The draggable overlay will appear in the bottom right!
