I would love to, but chat will eventually be discontinued and the devs didn't add any function to edit the messages so it's unfortunately not possible :( But you can change the font of chat2 :-)
But "chat2" have edit feature in it already so why would we need this for "chat2". It's needed more for "chat".
It'll be cruel from devs part if they get rid of "chat" as many users have their chats on it. I wonder if they'll still discontinue it. Don't they care for us at all?

I released this script before the edit button existed, it's no longer needed :-)
As for chat, I wouldn't bet on a dead horse.
What will happen to chat is unknown right now.
I understand. This script would get so many downloads tho if you could make this compatible with "chat". Ppl would really appreciate. Bot's generate better responses on "chat" rather than "chat2".

It surely would, but that is unfortunately impossible. If the devs don't implement such a function there is nothing for a script to use.
PLEASE PLEASE make it for chat, none of my chats are chat2 because the font hurts my eyes. I don't think chat will go away since most people have their chats in this one, not chat2.
