ebird media downloader

Picture download script for eBird, Macaulay Library, Birds of the World.

What this script can and can't do:

Downloading pictures from eBird requires Devtools (F12), this script can add a download button to the web page, and download medias directly without opening Devtools.

This script cannot batch download images from eBird, nor can it break the 2400 px limit!

Copyright note:

  • Due to the limitation of ebird, for images with a width < 2400 px, the original image is downloaded in this way, and for images with a width > 2400 px, it is not the original image, but the width = 2400 px high resolution image. Because the real original image can only be downloaded by the author.

  • Please obey by ebird's TOS and respect the copyright of the original author when using it, and do not use it for illegal purposes.
