This should be the same as clicking the 3 vertical dot menu and setting the Location.
It sets the "PREF" cookie for the youtube.com website.
Inside of edit(), change the 2 letters from US to another country code.
I think the country codes is the 2 letters for the "gl" variable.
Same as if you type it out as "youtube.com/?gl=US".
I do not think this changes much for YouTube.
It now probably checks the geographical location of the visitor's IP address.
So far, I only notice the homepage suggesting videos mostly by that country code.
Ads are localized to my country and I cannot view region locked videos.
A VPN will be needed in this case.
Does this bypass video restricted regions?
Also, how do I change the contry? I mean, please share a list with country codes that work on your script.
