Hi! This script it's awesome and it worked fine until today.
Now the streams are pausing everytime i switch tabs and its gets in second plane.
I've disabled the script and that bug it's gone.
Can you looking into it , please?

I tried to replicate your issue in Firefox and Chrome but couldn't. It works for me normally in both. What browser are you using?

I now see what you both were talking about. I have uploaded a possible fix for the issue now but not sure how well it works. The issue is that both Chrome and Twitch handle the "switch tab" events. A script can only block / prevent what Twitch does but not what Chrome does.

Irrelevant, but now whenever i pause a vod and tab out it resumes it's play.

I uninstall all my chrome extensions, but it keeps happening. So Chrome it's the one causing this trouble? I'll checkout the new update.

I have made a change (1.2.1) which now stores the last play status which should fix this issue

The stream is always getting unpaused when I switch tab, regardless of it being muted or not.

I just updated the script and it's now working fine for me. Please make sure you have the lastest version.

I think I found the issue you're talking about. I rewrote the pause / play detection (v1.2.3) and it should work better now and not start a paused stream when you switch tabs.

While the previous issue above is resolved, I'm now running into an issue where opening a new stream starts it on a black screen while just loading constantly unless I refresh the page and/or pause/unpause the stream. This doesn't happen when the script is disabled.

This should now be fixed in v1.2.4

I just found a new issue. Now when i open Twitch the front page stream it's on pause as always. But when i switch tabs the front page stream plays and it's annoying if you have the sound activated. Because suddenly you're hearing something in the background and you realize it's the stream that just plays itself on switch tab.

hmm. Sorry. The script didn't work for me once - didn't disabled automatic video downscale. But after that everything worked fine.

Now the initial issue of streams pausing when the tab is inactive is back, but it's not every time, it's less frequent and seemingly random.
