Inspired by TesoMayn's script, I wrote another approach which fixes some glitches.

  1. Get the correct full-sized image (nothing cropped) in maximum resolution
  2. Opens image on profile gallery or single-view page
  3. Only 1 image link opens instead of multiples after loading new content

Usage: left-click on preview image while holding the shift key.
