This script is a customized fork of the excellent HTML5 video player enhanced script by ankvps. Massive thanks and full credit goes to the original author for the incredible core features (such as speed control, audio boost, filters, and player detection).

🚀 What's New In This Version?

I have taken the original script and overhauled the Graphical User Interface (GUI) and save features to be completely unobtrusive and highly customizable. Furthermore, the codebase has been significantly streamlined by removing extra content and unused bloat, making it run lighter and faster.

My main additions and changes include:

  • Streamlined & Debloated: Removed extra unnecessary content from the original script to provide a cleaner, faster, and more focused user experience.
  • Auto-Hiding Compact GUI: The persistent toolbar can now be toggled between a full control panel and a miniaturized, draggable circular icon.
  • Smart Menu Positioning: The hamburger menu dynamically adjusts its opening direction depending on where you drag and anchor the toolbar on your screen.
  • Per-Site Progress Settings: The "resume playback" functionality and extension toggles are now handled on a per-site basis rather than globally.
  • Persistent Menu Bar: The menu bar is always present in all sites (even YouTube).

This script remains open-source and is published under the same GPL license as the original work.
