Aggressively blocks Torn City chat and its associated networking resources with a visual toggle switch.

💡 What It Does

Torn Chat Blocker hides and disables all chat features on Torn City. Whether chat is just annoying or you’re trying to stay laser-focused, this script’s got your back.

It adds a tiny toggle to your screen that lets you block or allow chat in real time. You can even set it to always block chat on specific pages like hospital, crimes, or anywhere else that distracts you.

🚀 How to Install

  1. Install a UserScript manager (like Tampermonkey) for your browser.
  2. Head over to the Torn Chat Blocker page on Greasy Fork.
  3. Click “Install this script”.
  4. Confirm the installation when prompted by your script manager.

Done. You’re ready to block that chat.

🧠 How to Use It

  1. Visit any page on https://www.torn.com/.
  2. Look in the top-right corner for the switch.

Switch Options:

  • 🟢 Green (Right): Global chat blocking is ON.
  • 🔴 Red (Left): Global chat blocking is OFF.
  • 🟠 Orange (Right): Current page is set to always block chat.

To toggle:

  • Click to switch between Green and Red.
  • Long-press (hold down) to turn Orange (permanently block chat on the current page).
  • Click Orange again to remove the page-specific block.

⚠️ After making changes, refresh the page to fully apply the new setting.

⚠️ Warnings & Notes

  • Use at your own risk. This script makes deep changes to Torn’s pages.
