Auto Refresh Interface for HotSauce

INSTALLATION:

If you haven't installed TamperMonkey yet,

  1. Go to edge://extensions or chrome://extensions and enable developer mode

  2. Install the TamperMonkey extension using either chrome extensions or edge add ons
Alternatively, you can just search TamperMonkey directly and download the extension based on your broswer

  3. Visit greasyfork. (this is the direct link to Auto-Refresh)

If you were on the homepage, just search up "hot sos" or "hot sauce" and it's the first script you see and install it.
It should take you to a tampermonkey page, where you'll click "install" and if successful, it should return you to the extension's greasyfork homepage!

USAGE:

  1. Log into HotSos if you aren't and navigate to Service orders.

  2. If logged in already, just reload the page and navigate to Service orders.

  3. Voila! The "Auto-Refresh box should be in the top-left corner. (you can move it anywhere)

  4. At this point, you're done!

    • Auto-Refresh should automatically change the refresh intervals to match the perceived busyness. (this isn't magic,
but pure luck and hardcoded values)
      . I call this: "Time-presets"
    • For the times I wont be correct, feel free to change the interval to something else of your choosing :)
  5. Things you can do:

    • You can right-click (with mouse/ touchpad) or long press on any preset to edit it to a new interval.
Click enter or press "save" to save the new interval (Will you need to do this? 99.9% nah)
    • Drag the box anywhere on screen (gently)
    • Toggle auto-refresh ON/OFF with the slider toggle switch
    • Collapse/expand with the +/- button

CONVINIENCE FEATURES:

  • Check Time Display. By showing when the page was last refreshed

  • Remembers. Across page reloads, your last settings will be saved and used to start up your new session

  • Dynamic time-presets. Auto-refresh intervals changed based on predifined intervals

TROUBLESHOOTING:

  • Script Not Showing? Make sure you're on the Service Orders page, then reload

  • Not Refreshing? Check if the toggle switch is turned on (blue)

  • Still Not Working? Check TamperMonkey dashboard to ensure both the extension and script are enabled

  • Found a Bug? That's not a bug, it's an undocumented feature. But seriously, let me know.
