Hi Van Inhalin, thanks for reporting the issue. I just tried it myself using one of the videos for that channel, confirmed it was 50 fps, and it selected my HFR quality instead of my standard selected quality. I took a look and youtube did indeed flag it as being a high framerate video. So I don't seem to be having the same issue. I know your reported this several months ago (sorry for the delay!), but is it still happening for you today? If so, can you please give me your browser version and your userscript version so I can better try to reproduce?
It appears that the high framerate setting (HFR) works for 60fps, but doesn't include 50fps. I don't know if they should have the same setting or a separate one? My laptop can do 4k@30fps, 1440@50fps, and 1080@60fps. This is something I've come across recently. Channel "Adz Ventures" does 4k@50fps as an example.
