  • v8.0 2023-06-04

    I updated both Blocking and Tackling to get the Strength-based modification per the bug found by Maul Rat. The only place it would be wrong now would be for a STOP type dot where you want both blocking and tackling at end build, just realize that both "offense" and "defense" types get the bonus in the VPB now, where that might not be the case when actually building a dot.

    The "Previous Day" button is back, and appears to be working normally, from my testing, after I changed the "available boosts" field in the serializeBuild function to be 2 digits, since there can now be up to 10 available boosts.

    Vet points are updated now. The BT total when you get to the end appears to be correct (2,532 BT if you do all light train the whole time), and the functionality to choose a BT level to stop at to ensure enough left with only light training should work now.

    The builder should now work correctly if you "skip" any trains on the way up, adding up to 5 boosts when you hit plateau to allow you to reach level 79 if you have missed 1-5 boosts. BORT HAS NOT 100% CONFIRMED THAT THIS WILL STILL WORK THIS WAY, THIS IS JUST THE WAY IT HAS ALWAYS WORKED UNTIL NOW, SO I HAVE IT IN THERE.

    Veteran XP and game XP are now age-based instead of level-based, so you should reach 72 VXP whether you are boosting or not, which is NOT like our current system, but should be the way the new system works when it rolls out. High-end experience levels are ultimately still governed by total number of boosts, so there is no difference there from the old system.

    You are now prompted to enter day 40 as the start day for the build, to ensure maximum compatibility with what I believe the new build process will look like.

    I removed the Previous Day button, in case that was what was graying out the Next button at some point, and I may have fixed the graying out problem.

    Also, I think I've fixed the available boosts for season zero/season 1 up to day zero, to where if you don't use all of the initial 5 boosts given, you will "lose" them until the chance to make them up at plateau, which also should work now.

    Got VAs updated, also it goes from 5 boosts available to 10 boosts available at season zero rollover, as it should. HOWEVER, it will not automatically drop your 5 boosts if you don't use them by day 0 of season 1, which I think Bort said he was keeping.

    It should also now give up to 10 boosts at the end of the build if up to 5 boosts were not used during the build, which would mirror what has always been available with the current system, just using 5 boosts per season instead of 3.
