Mustex/Bunta´s Neverwinter Browser Bot Legacy continues HERE!!!

First big THX to MAC-NW, he did great additions for script and we should not forget Bluep/Numberb/KAkoura etc. contributing own time that others save theirs, sharing this is good thing.

Second, I keep it updated as long I want and day I quit someone will continue, its great script and we should keep this Legacy alive as long we can.

For MAC-NW, only one "Feature" is on my wish list,

- sell item(s) from inventory

and I hope I dont hurt your feelings when I published script already...

First question asked here is "Autoupdate" and will it work as intended if user enable it?

Nicely done Rotten!

REGARDING AUTO UPDATE

Installing it fresh from here will work as intended, but if you want to move your old script to this version and have working auto update, then:

  1. backup your original sciprt (save it in a txt file in ur docs)

  2. Edit your already installed script and change the Update URL at the top to:

https://greasyfork.org/scripts/7061-neverwinter-gateway-professions-robot/code/Neverwinter%20Gateway%20-%20Professions%20Robot.user.js

  1. Also change your version to something lower than this version., i suggest:changing the version line to:

// @version 1.0

  1. Go into tampermonkey's dashboard, select the checkbox next to the Neverwinter GW Bot... A drop down list will appear at the top of the list, select trigger update then click teh strat button next to the list.

  2. If you did the previous steps correctly then you will be presented with a UserScript Update confirmation page containing the latest code from here. Click Update to CONFIRM/APPLY.

After it goes back to the dashboard you might have to "refresh" and you should see the version change to the latest here (currently 1.05.0.1e).

When copy/pasting the total account a.d. count you forgot to initialize the variable (which might make the js fail sometimes) https://www.diffchecker.com/5a7b9itp (see line 444).

The ZAX exchange doesn't work when 'min character balance' = 0. In-game I can see lots and lots of 0 A.D. / 0 zen transactions.

The new Settings window UI is quite nicer, but the button colours are... not that good :p, I'll get you some css changes here and there soon.

I see it initialized on line 216.

Hi @Brent, ah my bad then. I was looking for it where I put it... Hmm then the js issue I was getting is from something else I've been working on.

Btw about the ZAX, it works very good if 'min char balance'>=1, also if there are more than 5 characters it isn't very efficient on the first page load run but on the long term it saves quite a lot of my time. Thanks for that @mac-nw :-).

Hi @Rotten_mind,
> Hey, how we gonna post script what is tested but NOT posted on main page?

The best solution would be to fire up a github/bitbucket repo with a couple of guys with write access where we can pull-req, review, test and release whenever.

Happy holidays :-).

That is good suggestion.

That same Github/bitbucket can also used as update source for GreasyFork.

Current version .1f works as it must, I got few stuck´s on it but they dont happen often and are resolved by "page reload"

8D xmas

Github is started

It is now under Phr33d0m control (THX, exp. user is always better).

no way I started it first!!!!

https://github.com/RottenMind/Neverwintet-Gateway-Automation-Robot-MustexBuntaLegacy

Contact Phr33d0m if you need other rights than "pull-request".

I think it would help if contributors could have a discussion on current issues around the implementation and figure out a direction to improve on the script.

Github is started,

Could you leave that to me? I have quite a bit of experience with it.

@mac-nw we could either talk about it in IRC or through github's issues system.

https://github.com/Phr33d0m/NW-Profession-Bot

I'll make the current developers as Contributors (as soon as I know their @usernames) so everyone would have direct write access. Everyone else that wants to contribute can simply make a pull-request.

Hey, that is GREAT idea, will I just remove my github and replace mainpage to redirect yours?

I really enjoy that some one who understand things better do "hostile take over"... you know, ;D...

Githubbers started new fork after short debate on Github,

https://github.com/Phr33d0m/NW-Profession-Bot/issues/82#issuecomment-101042691

I wish that their build grow fast and most users can switch to it by time so this fork can then retire.

You find Githubbers version of this script from below link,

https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/9812-neverwinter-gateway-professions-robot

I asked @namespace change so they can keep these two version different.

I am a bit confused about all this forking and changes. For people who just like to run the script and watch the AD grow where should we be getting our script from?

And a big thanks to all those who help and add to this script.

I do a bit of scripting, mostly Powershell, at work and want to go through the script to understand it when I have time. I have a four year old and a one year old so free time is in short supply though.

xD, history... @jellyfishjelly1, there is SCA -module what I like to use, it is working but it need modifications.

Module is originally made in Github so called,

https://github.com/LaskonSoftware/NWGatewayAutomation

and it has licence what allows us to modify it, here is gist where SCA part runs,

https://gist.github.com/anonymous/f167f97bfdefa2b10002

It runs allways on last character, did not break that module yet... any help to break it for better use is welcome, ;)

The day you quit I call dibs on making the first bid for your account after it's been stripped! Maybe I pay you money to keep playing / scripting instead.

You really should make a "Donate" paypal link. You've earned it. I can't take you to the bar, but I'd like to be able to at least send you enough money for a case of beer.

..it is free to take, free to develop, donations should go to Mustex&Bunta and my part is just support it as long I like to (script is fine now, it have some flaws, but it works as it must),

Cheers, ;).
