The Gemini Eraser automates the process of deleting conversation history in the Google Gemini interface. Instead of manually deleting each chat by clicking on option menus, the script scans the conversation list and removes items one by one until the list is empty.


How to Use

There are two ways to activate the script:

  • Via the Script Manager Menu: Click on your extension icon in the browser, select the Delete All command, and confirm the action in the window that appears.
  • Via the Gemini Interface: Make sure you are not typing anything in the text field and use the keyboard shortcuts listed below.



Keyboard Shortcuts

The script responds to the following commands to initiate deletion immediately:

Alt + Delete | Alt + Backspace

Security Rule: The shortcut will not work if the cursor focus is inside a text box (input), editing area (textarea), or an editable element. This prevents you from accidentally triggering deletion while writing a message to the AI.
