Universal Subtitle Overlay

Load your own SRT or VTT subtitles onto any online video, on any website.

This script adds a clean, draggable subtitle overlay that works even when the website does not support or provide subtitles.

How to Use

Click the “Load Subtitle” button that appears in the bottom-right corner.
Select an .srt or .vtt file.
Play the video — subtitles will appear automatically.
Drag the subtitle box to reposition it anytime.

Settings (sync, size, position) are available from the Userscript menu.

Notes

Subtitles only appear when a visible video is on the screen.
The script works best with standard HTML5 video elements.
All your settings and your last subtitle file are saved automatically.
You have to manually add subtitles since the script doesn't rely on online downloads.

No data is collected or sent anywhere.
