Userscript that can spoof the timezone

Is it possible to create a userscript that can spoof the timezone?
Many websites keep a track of the local timezone set on the device, and thereby can locate/track the device.

There are very few reliable addons for firefox which can provide any degree of protection from this.
Is it possible to create a userscript that can spoof the system timezone?
