A simple userscript that adds a button to open GitHub repositories directly in DeepWiki.

I wrote this so you can jump straight from GitHub to a repo's DeepWiki page in one click. It just grabs the owner/repo from the GitHub URL, creates a link to deepwiki.com/owner/repo, and opens it in a new tab.

What it does

  • Adds a small "DeepWiki" button next to the repository name on any repo page.
  • Adds the same button to repository links on GitHub search result pages.
  • Ignores GitHub system pages and tags (like /topics/, /settings/, /orgs/, etc.) so the buttons only show up on actual repositories.
  • Handles GitHub's single-page navigation, so the buttons will keep loading correctly as you click around without needing to refresh the page.

How to use

Just install a userscript manager like Tampermonkey or Violentmonkey, add the script, and it will run automatically whenever you browse github.com.
