A research-based typing simulation tool that replicates natural human typing patterns. Built using data from academic studies on keystroke dynamics (CHI 2018, CHI 2016).

How to Use

  1. Install the script via Violentmonkey or Tampermonkey
  2. Go to monkeytype.com
  3. Log out of your account (important!)
  4. Select a test mode (time 30, words 50, etc.)
  5. Click on the typing area to focus
  6. Press / (slash) to start/stop
