chimo-chimo-loop

A lightweight userscript that adds a small control bar with Picture-in-Picture (PiP) and Loop toggles to HTML5 videos.

Primarily tested on Safari for macOS. Chromium browsers (e.g. Edge) also work on many sites, but behavior may vary.

Features

  • 🌠 One-click Picture-in-Picture
  • 🔁 One-click Loop toggle
  • 🧊 Clean overlay UI injected automatically
  • 👻 Auto-hides after 3 seconds of inactivity
  • ⚡️ Lightweight, fast, and dependency-free

Compatibility

Works on most pages using standard HTML5 <video> elements.

Some websites use custom mini-players or their own replay/loop logic, which may not always match the script's loop state.

Installation
