OneHundredNotes.com MIDI Input Player

This userscript allows you to play notes on OneHundredNotes.com using MIDI input from a connected MIDI device. The script listens for MIDI signals and sends note events to the website in real time.

Features

  • Supports MIDI keyboard input.
  • Sends note-on and note-off events to OneHundredNotes.com.
  • Supports sustain pedal functionality.
  • Works with software MIDI players like MIDI-OX or nanoMIDIPlayer.
    • You will need virtual loopback software like loopMIDI.

Using the Script

Step 1: Open OneHundredNotes.com

Once the script is installed, navigate to OneHundredNotes.com. The script will automatically connect to the MIDI input and enable note playback.

Step 2: Choose a MIDI Input Source

You can use either:

  • A Physical MIDI Keyboard: Connect it to your computer via USB.
  • Software MIDI Players: Such as MIDI-OX or nanoMIDIPlayer, which can simulate MIDI input.
    • You will need virtual loopback software like loopMIDI.

Step 3: Play Notes

  • Press keys on your MIDI keyboard or send MIDI signals from a software player.
  • Notes will be played on OneHundredNotes.com in real time.
  • The sustain pedal (if available) is supported.

Troubleshooting

  • If MIDI input does not work, ensure that your MIDI device is recognized by your system.
  • Refresh the page if notes are not triggering.
  • Check the browser console (F12 > Console) for debug logs.
