Review: Good - script works

I love this script, however I've noticed that if I have data in the bookmark and then hit one of the tagging buttons (it's usually going from "To Read" to "Finished") it screws up all the HTML formatting within the bookmark. I do use an autotagger for bookmarks, but it will be fine until using one of the buttons in this script and then it will mess it up.

Thank you for feedback! Indeed, JavaScript escapes notes html for security reasons, rolling out the fix right now, please update to 1.2.6

Also, if you have any ideas or feature requests - feel free to write at any time, I'll have some free time soon so I'm planning to work on the script.

Have a good day!

Thank you thank you, it works splendidly now! This has saved my sanity at having to individually edit each bookmark with tags - just being able to do it from the main page has been a life-saver! If there was a native/auto bookmarking feature, I could honestly ditch a few of my other scripts. But either way thank you!

Glad it works! Could you please provide more details about auto bookmarking feature? I'm cooking the update, and maybe I'll add this feature as well

One of the scripts I use (w4tchdoge's AO3 Bookmark Maker) has a default blurb and set of tags that are automatically added when making a bookmark. For now I just edit it in later after adding it to one of the lists, but if it was a part of this script that would also be lovely

I will say, if there was a recent update, it now appears to be no longer working - there is no settings page, no buttons and nothing in the menu dropdown.

Yep, there was an update, no breaking changes were introduced but you know how it is, nasty bugs are hard to spot pre-release

Please, try to reinstall the script, if it won't work - try to "Reset Settings" from the preferences page. If that wont help either, I'll provide instructions how to reset them manually.

Sorry for inconveniences, thus update was a big one, must've overlooked something :(

You were right, the update broke the script due to settings structure inconsistencies.
I've pushed the fix along with a new system of settings merging to prevent such fails in future :D

Please let me know if everything is working, I've tested myself on Chrome/Firefox desktop, Firefox Android

It looks to be working now! Is the option to mark fics with the buttons from the bookmark page new??? Because that is SUCH an awesome feature!! It's going to make it SO much easier to change my older bookmarks! Thank you thank you! If it's not new, I just didn't notice it until now haha!

Thanks so much for the kind words! Yes, the option to mark fics directly from the bookmark page is a new feature - I'm glad you found it helpful! Tip: it also works on any page with fics (search page, listing by tag page, other user's bookmarks etc.)

As for the bookmark notes autofill, that's something I've been considering for a while, but I wasn't sure how useful it would be, especially since there are a few existing alternatives. If you have any specific ideas or suggestions for how you'd like that feature to work, I'd love to hear them!
