thank you so much for keeping this alive! without it, Google is a pain in the ass

works fine in Firefox Violetmoney/Greasymonkey, but for some reason not in Greasemonkey on Pale Moon (which is a fork of an older Firefox version) - is there anything I can provide/any way I can help to make it work?

Unfortunately there's a reason Greasemonkey is not what most people recommend. It isn't as compatible as a lot of other userscript managers. I suggest Tampermonkey instead. Make sure to go to settings in it, scroll all the way to the bottom, and change the inject speed to "instant".

thanks for responding - unfortunately, Greasemonkey is the only UserJS manager available in Pale Moon.

I can't get my head around why previous versions (aligo/DrWonky) of the script did work in Greasmonkey; with my limited JavaScript knowledge I don't see anything in your version that wouldn't normally work in Pale Moon *or* Greasemonkey (like, new features or substantial changes). weird.

anyway, thanks again.

before you give up, can you search whatever on google, save a complete webpage of the search, and send me a zip? If it never had issues before, then chances are you might not have the change that makes the script work on google itself yet. I might be able to fix that.

I use this on Pale Moon, installed with Greasemonkey for Pale Moon. I removed line 107: "style.sheet.insertRule('.srKDX:has( > .kb0PBd.cvP2Ce.LnCrMe) .btrG .btrLink { max-width: 510px !important;}');" and it now works for me.

I'd really like that HTML file because I want to see why removing that would fix it. I wonder if the has selector isn't functioning on Pale Moon.

Got to be honest I don't know why either because I have almost zero understanding of coding etc but remembered that version 22 never worked for me when you introduced the has selector. I went from v21 to v24 yesterday, removed that line and it works great now.

Anyway, found this on the PM board, hope it helps: https://forum.palemoon.org/viewtopic.php?f=70&t=30849

This script has always been fantastic, I'm really grateful that you maintain it and so quickly when google muck about. Thank you.
