Unfortunately I have no way to test the script in Safari so I don't know what parts aren't working, but there are a few problems that I am able to detect. You can try the fixes on the current version (14.08.31.03):
line 5: // @include *://bato.to/*
line 6: // @include *://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?*
If the above changes do not resolve the problem try this too:
in lines 25, 28, 31, 34, 37 remove: GM_getResourceURL('iconName') ||

I can't get this to work with NinjaKit. I have a feeling some things are just not supported. (It hasn't been updated in a while). Nothing actually changes
I switched to using Javascript Blocker (http://javascript-blocker.toggleable.com) and that at causes a question mark to appear where the icons should go. Removing GM_getResourceURL makes the Images appear.
