Twitter/X. Whether you prefer manual or automatic options, this script ensures you never lose your place
while browsing new posts. Perfect for staying updated without the hassle of scrolling endlessly.

Installation

  1. Install a user script manager like Tampermonkey or Violentmonkey on your browser.
  2. Download the script from here.
  3. Ensure you grant necessary permissions for saving and loading your reading position.

Usage

Automatic Mode


The script automatically tracks your reading position when scrolling.
It highlights the last read post if you revisit Twitter/X later.

Manual Controls


On the left side of your screen, you will see two circular buttons:


  • 📂 Load Saved Reading Position: Click this to load a saved reading position and navigate to it.

  • 🔍 Start Manual Search: Click this to refine the search for your last read post.

Exporting and Importing Reading Position


The script allows you to export your reading position as a JSON file, which can be saved locally.
You can later import this file to restore your position on a different device or browser.
