This script removes blacklisted articles (e.g., anything about a Kardashian) from Google News so you never have to see them again. The script compares the text of each article to the terms in the user's blacklist and removes the article if it finds a match. The script searches both the main news area and the spotlight sidebar, as well as the "related articles" that are hidden until you click in a story. Note that this script does not (and cannot) replace removed articles with new ones, so if you have a lot of blacklist terms, it's possible that some sections of Google News will appear empty from time to time. Stories may also be filtered by source (e.g., CNN, FOX). For efficiency, from time to time you should delete terms from your blacklists that have "fallen off the radar" after a while.
