I often switch to metric units when editing because the precise length of wayfinders, box intersections, etc can be very important and all of the measurements are in meters. This occasionally catches me when I'm later editing speed limits and forget.
What I'd like to see is either a simple notification when entering SLs ("Hey dummy you're entering KPH in a country where MPH is the norm!") or an auto-unit-conversion (might be tricky to get exactly right with the rounding but should be doable)
