Please, test this version of my script:
https://github.com/trespassersW/UserScripts/blob/master/TEST/translate.google_tooltip.user.js
Yes, that's good!
what was the problem ?
ps:
i quickly test it , but it was handle by tampermonkey which seems better than the last Greasemonkey.
I test the Firefox Quantum ... It's me or ?????
That's a global problem. Have you read this:
https://greasyfork.org/en/forum/discussion/31273/gm4-ff57-compatibility-fixing-an-alternative-approach ?
Thanks , i have read it but, as usual, don't understand all.
I wait to see an example of real fixing to try, i hope, to understand better.
So, I retested your last version beta with Firefox Quantum and only the last Greasemonkey (no Tampermonkey in use):
It don't work....
;-(
PS:
I don't know if it is Tampermonkey function or a script on my computer at home, but it's fine how it can be possible to install a script directly from GitHub
New version

- open user.js file, then click the RAW button
Re test:
"open user.js file, then click the RAW button ": Not working with the last FIREFOX / Greasemonkey.
but work in Waterfox.
The new script version (@version 17.11.301) don't work with Firefox Quantum / Greasemonkey.
In waterfox i use always the // @version 17.08.08.
Maybe it's just a problem of me....
I feel I need to plug second HD to my PC and install win7+Fx57+GM4 . It will take time,
2 days at least :(
Haa yes...
2 days that's a hard work !
:-)
ps: You are on MAC ?
This work isn't hard, but very boring
> on MAC ?
- no
I'd like to note: Fx57 & GM4 are quite raw products that have many issues,
so if you just want to work and you don't aspire to stand on top of technology, use Firefox ESR.52 & GM.3
(as I do ;)
“For a long time Firefox has supported two types of extensions, the traditional legacy ones we're all used to and the WebExtension variety that work more like what Chrome uses. As of Firefox 57, legacy extensions will no longer work. If you're lucky, your favourites will already be available as WebExtensions. ”
They say it died in November,2016. RIP.
On the other hands we burried this fox many times; the bitch is still alive and kicking
Broken with Firefox 57 and Greasemonkey 4.1 beta5 ??
I test the Firefox Quantum version and the greasemonkey Alpha and it seems broke your script...
It's me or ?????
