I'm a user of the 'Youtube High Definition' Firefox add-on which aims to handle Youtube embedded videos in both Flash and html5. Never had a problem with Flash but now with Firefox 37, html5 is imposing itself to Youtube (and it runs nicely now with 1080p HD videos). Unfortunately 'Youtube High Definition' cannot -- here -- handle html5 embedded videos (when it should). Hence my search for an alternative... and here we are with 'Embedded Youtube Video Full HD" which runs up to now perfectly well with html5 (haven't tried it with Flash).
