What do you mean with a section for Shorts?
Do you mean the shorts section on the startpage? Just click the X on the top right of the section and it will be hidden for a month
Do you mean the shorts button on the sidebar? Just go into uBlock Origin -> My Filters and add youtube.com##ytd-reel-shelf-renderer
