That is actually intentional, I didn't think of web comics when I made the script.
I'll see what I can do to make it better. Maybe an option to for webcomics.
Can you link a web comic sample with connected drawing to test on?
Added a webcomic mode, a button on the top left
is it possible to add a setting where you can have it enabled all the time in the cog on the right top side?
