Stuck on: "Fetching Status Page"

My hit database will no longer update at all. I tried removing the database using the database removal tool and reinstalling the hit database mkII, but it didn't work.

I click on the update button and it just sits there with "fetching status page" and the spinning beach balls. Refresh the page or restart the browser and I get the same thing.

help!

I had the same problem. I solved it by just doing a hit. Then it worked again.
