Task list auto change?

Not sure what causes this but every now and than task list is changing o the default one (not sure where it comes from anyway).
I've changed the task to my liking but than they're going wonky after some time.

Anyone had the same?

Is there some kind of automatic default setting I have ticked or something?

It's getting a bit annoying now......

It must be "Tampermonkey" autoupdate.

To avoid unwanted updates,

  • disable autoupdate

or

  • set Script version HIGH eg.

...and make your own "Fork" here, keep it private or public, then you can keep track your changes and rollback.

It is muche easier than Github, but not so versatile.

It is not related with number of version. I did it right away, disable autoupdate. Script is crap, because I have 50 char on acc, every char have 3 slots for Leadership, and script do VERY different tasks on many charachters.
Some of them do task which I put in tasklist for that level, some of them doing some task that is not in every level, and plenty of them using slots for leveling Assets (Train Assets is NOT checked).
Also, I have on some charachters 1 slot for Artificing, and I wanted to get lvl 20 as fast is possible with tasks that make 1200 exp. But, script is NOT doing task that is on my tasklist, instead she is working some lame task (I don't even waste time to see which one is, I know is wrong one).
And to be clear..I'm not a dumbass..I write tasks letter by letter in tasklists. There is no mistake.
Script have great desing, but have a big % of failure, because she is not working adequate tasks. Its quite annoying.

Came back here after I saw the new comment in the topic.

I've made the tweak as Rotten suggested and didn't have any issues ever since. So it does work for me - should do for everyone really...so thanks for that!

And for the script going bonkers, it does get stuck once in a while but I'm using it for quite a bit and can't say anything bad about it. It's really simple, the UI is clear and haven't came along anything close to the issues you're describing @blackman.

Have you tried redo all of your stuff? I mean wipe the setting and starting all over? It takes only few minutes and the thing is back and running.

The only gripe I have is that I can't choose task per slot and asset per slot. That would be really awesome!

Yet still...it's a great, and simple way to automate your proffesions.

There is allways config what make script stop working and it looks like +40 characters cause problems.

I still use script 24/7 for multiple accounts and so far it work, but I also use less than 10 characters per accounts.

We tested functions with +100 characters, but now it cant be done because preview is disabled.

Script use .js and .js have bugs + failures because network/server communication failures and also Script itself can be better.

Overall after LEadershit AD removal and NW playerbase reduction I dont see too much users for this script. It is still good and best Free tool for NW profession.

To DumbAsses,

     when script do task then it check if needed resources exist 
     if not then script select task what produce resources

, all depends tasklist selected tasks and here we again must remember bugs/lags/glitch.

eg. my leadershit shuold make ONLY 3 task on level25, but it do sometimes 4th and 5th task because Gateway BUGs cause professions assets not reload properly, this cause me lost maybe 1 - 3 task per week, did I cry that here, is there solution to avoid it, IDK!?

Better learn basic and then cry - How Free game and Free script not do my bidding 100%, ;).

First, yes, Kemi, I was redo all the things. Actually, in one moment, new patch of script reset my complete tasklist. I have same problem before that, and after that. And, again, I don't have problem with patches, cause I uncheck them.

Second, yes, I set 3 slots of Leadership on every of 50 charachters. I need gold and I need lvl 25 of Leadership. Every of 50 charachters have 9 Footmans, 9 Worn Infantry Weapons and 9 Worn Infantry Armor. I have UNchecked 'Fill Optional Assets'. I have only tasks, in my tasklist, that DON'T need any resources, like: Patrol the Mines, Guard Young Noble on Trip, and Protect Diamonds.

I will explain only on first 5 charachters (on others is quite same trouble):

Leadership level on charachter - all tasks in tasklist - task script does

1. (leadership lvl 25), task Leadership_Tier4_24_Wizardsseneschal - doing that task
2. (leadership lvl 24), task Leadership_Tier4_24_Wizardsseneschal - doing that task
3. (leadership lvl 22), task Leadership_Tier3_13_Patrol - doing Protect Magical Goods Market
4. (leadership lvl 21), task Leadership_Tier3_13_Patrol - doing nothing on 3 slots (not any task)
5. (leadership lvl 20), Leadership_Tier3_13_Patrol - doing 9 slots of Alchemy (dedicated 3 slots for Leadership, 6 for Alchemy).

Everything is similar on rest of 45 charachters. Script is doing right task, wrong task (that is not even on tasklist, and its not for resources), or not task at all.
I have that using 24/7 too, and that is something that happend all the time. Not only one bug or glitch, and in next turn go ok. Its constantly repeats.
It's weird, but that it is.

This script is well designed, everything have sense, I give credit for that whoever made her. I'm using it for couple of months, but when something don't work - I can't say it does.
I don't cry, I just say how things are.

What you wrote up there sounds familiar or part of it, but I have no idea what can cause that.

Look this script mainpage and there is link other version of this script. Still, both script use same basics so it may fail same way, but because it is claimed that its better then I think it may not fail, ;).


ONE advice, get "Portable Chrome/Opera" and make test setup there, you can load it even USB stick, make more than one copy(folders) after you get OLD and NEW script setup done... now you can play settings and if all fails then just go back MAIN.

That way you can keep BOTH script installed, but remember run ONE at time.

Just to say this also, on those slots dedicated for Leadership (x3), on some charachters script is starting to train Assets (highest possible), beside 'Train Assets' is not checked and even I have 9 Footmans on every charachter. Its strange, because on some charachters script is doing right task, on others wrong task, and on some of them is rapidly trying to train assets w/o reason. I say this, just to know, if someone else say that also, that You know the problem is similar.

Thank You for advice, but that is too much time/effort/experiments for me. I will continue using it on this 'half way'. Maybe not working great, but its better then nothing. ;)
