Hi Marty. Sorry I didn't see this earlier, didn't get an email on this. I confirmed the issue in safari. I had only tested with chrome and firefox, where it does work.
I'll take a look at it and let you know what's going on with Safari and local storage.
Actually, it works for me in all browsers. Initially i thought i could reproduce, but that was because i wasn't logged into goodreads.
Marty, some questions:
1) are you logged in on goodreads? You have to be logged in to use it.
2) after you enter the api key, did you try clicking "load my authors"? Currently, no text changes after just entering the key (planning to make that more clear)
3) Are you by chance comfortable looking at the console to see what error messages might be displayed?
Script does not seem to work
I installed this under both Safari and Opera. The script does go from page to page nicely, but it will not take the API entered into it, it will not enter any of the drawings, and it does not open any new tabs -- all despite selecting all contests with one or more books and not specifying any authors (since it won't take the API key).
