Reddit Chemo
On the front page feeds (particularly r/all and r/popular), blocks posts from subreddits of your choosing and removes advertisements.
Compatible with Reddit Watcher.
Deprecated / Replaced by nREC browser extension
Reddit Chemo is now packaged in a browser extension (New Reddit Enhancements & Chemo (nREC)) along with features from my other Reddit userscripts as well as some brand-new features. It's recommended to migrate to nREC, as my reddit userscripts will no longer be getting regular updates.
Download nREC for Firefox or Chrome.
Usage
When in any of the feeds (r/all or r/popular) you should see a button for "Ban" between the subreddit name and the "Join" button. Click to add this subreddit to the list of banned subs. Note that in compact mode, because there is no "Join" button, this will appear on every post.
By default, banned subreddit posts will still show a small strip with an option to unban said subreddit. This can be changed via the control for "Reddit Chemo".
At top-right will be a small control for "Reddit Chemo", expand this to see the number of posts blocked and the option to show or hide banned posts.
