Download YouTube videos. Video formats are listed at the top of the watch page. Video links are tagged so that they can be downloaded easily.
720p MP4 has been removed by YouTube around June this year.
Download links are no longer valid. Not sure if poToken
is needed.
YouTube itself does not GET the links anymore. They are POST requests with some payload.
Thank you very much because I understand better now ; in this case your script is still very useful despite the inconveniences of YouTube :-)
Also, unfortunately Tampermonkey doesn't update automatically your script so I'm stuck with the first version 2.47 of 15.10.2024 until now because Tampermonkey doesn't update a script with the same version number as the previous one even if the script was really modified :-(
It also didn't offer me a pop-up update on Google Chrome or on Mozilla Firefox like other scripts if Tampermonkey doesn't update them automatically...
Therefore if you don't mind, it's also possible for you to update the version number of your script to 2.48 in order to unblock Tampermonkey so that it updates your script correctly please ?

Don't worry, the 2nd v2.47 has just some formatting changes and is functionally identical.
You can use the History tab and see the diff.
Okay, I understand and thanks a lot for all ;-)

does that mean this very script is no longer functional and never will be again?
I've been using it for more than a decade, thanks for all your work!

Yes. Whether the links can be used again depends on someone discovering a way to do so -- I'm not optimistic.
From what I see, YouTube is trying to do away with direct video links.
This script can still be used to tell what res the video has :-D -- which is normally how I use it.
Hello,
Unfortunately with the version 2.46, the "MP4" are only displayed for 360p.
In addition, it's no longer possible to download the various video formats because the access is denied or nothing is displayed even in a new tab with the video links :-(
