Doesn't work at all, options also are unable to open.

Can you tell me what happened? as I have tried in both old and new UI, it is working without any problem.

Tried again. Options still refuse to open & theater mode doesn't change :(
Though similar extension "YouTube True Theater Mode" works fine. Could you check it out? There's definitely some bug hidden in your code

Could you add an option to show search bar when mouse is near it and/or when mouse is moved?

Found a bug: after scrolling down with theater mode with this extension enabled, you can't click anything (like, write a comment, choose another video etc): if clicked anywhere, mouseclick just pauses the video. This occurs when theater video turns small (photo).

Another bug: when video ends, you can no longer scroll down at all, forcing you to click Esc.

This script still refuses to work via AdGuard extension scripts, though it works fine in TamperMonkey; just moved script from AG to TM and it now works, thanks!

About the latter: I decided to not bother you and investigate this myself. I found a fix: disable "Float video" in "YouTube Player Controls". This feature is incompatible with your extension :(

May I know where to get "Youtube Player Controls"? so I can attempt to make it compatible.

Hello again. Thanks for your work, this extension now covers basically all my desires about YT! About AdGuard: its extension management service died altogether, so can't check whether your extension works in it or not.

Can you elaborate more on what you mean? because that feature already works when the video is scrolled down.

I mean, so that it hides itself if mouse isn't near, and shows when it's near, not showing all the time if scrolled down
