Would you mind linking to a video that doesn't work?

It works for me with this page: http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm33794543 ([raw video] shows up)

Even in the one I linked? Could you check the console (F12) and see if it shows any lines with "[i2d]" in it?

Could you let me know which userscript manager you are using? It works fine for me under Violentmonkey, but I'll try to replicate the issue.

I've just created a new profile, using the same Chrome version as you are using and Tampermonkey, but I've unfortunately been unable to replicate the issue.

Could you try to use Violentmonkey and see if it still happens? If it still happens, would you mind posting a screenshot of the console? (make sure to reload the page once it's open, so it records everything)

Uhh. I understood. You work because you are not logged in to their site. After authorization on the site, the player type changes from "http" to "hls", but right click on the video allows you to return back "http" player, and yor scripts start working, but pannel with links shows not in video area but in the upper left corner of page.

You're right! I just logged in, and the same behaviour was exhibited for me too. I could support niconico (I found how to do it), however, a tool like youtube-dl would be much more suitable for this. As you mentioned, it uses HLS, so youtube-dl (or similar) would be required anyways to download it.

There are a few singular websites (such as Soundcloud and Mixcloud) this script supports, however, those were because youtube-dl at the time didn't support them or were broken, and for different reasons, I personally immediately needed to download them. If youtube-dl doesn't work for you with niconico, I'll add support for it in this script.
