Downloading is possible for both photos and videos from posts, as well as for stories, reels or profile picture.
Have you enabled Media API download? You need to enable Media API to obtain high-quality images.
btw, what is your "the developer is no longer available" mena?
The home screen stories don't seem to be functioning, and downloading or opening the images doesn't provide the highest quality.
For example, an Instagram post with 1080x1350 pixels is not the highest quality, the highest quality is 1440x1800 pixels (if it's available)
I have this Chrome extension, but the developer is no longer available, so it might become outdated soon.
so far the script is great, but i would love to know if theres way to get the images in max quality.
