a small update - it was caused by simple age restriction bypass
BUT it still freezes the entire page for me on shorts videos played on normal video pages for some reason
it is not a conflict with any other userscript as i've tried disabling them all and it still dies
I've noticed youtube tab freezing sometimes while using Return Youtube Dislike extension. So the issue is caused by that, for me at least...
If you are using RYD, maybe temporarily disabled it?
Page hang/crash happens to me only on videos where the user disables Likes on a video. i.e. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Md73aMFFT6Y
The freeze is not caused by this script.
It might happen if you have RYD extension enabled.
You can switch to the userscript version of RYD and it will be fine.

2.1.8 doesnt take any effect compared to 2.1.0?
Hi! 2.1.0 started freezing the entire page so i updated to 2.1.8 but it seems to change completely nothing on the website? am i missing something?
