Is there any way to add functionality to Google Drive videos as well?

I'm wondering if since the player is the same, and I imagine a lot of things on the back end or similar as well, if there were a simple way to add this functionality.

but I personally don't use Google Drive a lot. like once every month or so. also I don't watch video in it.

so there are no motivation for me to develop such program. (I am pretty sure no one gonna pay for this)

so "I don't use it personally" + "no money" = sorry I can't develop this
