Two authors publishing the same content of an original script
Wow thank you so much, I have been looking for this script for years now and I was kind of thinking about coding it, but since it already exists I won't do it
So, thanks for bringing this to our attention, I have confirmed that the original author is only https://github.com/Ashish-Bansal/audio-only-youtube
So all other scripts have been reported and will be deleted soon.
The only exception is the script https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/447447-youtube-audio-mode because the codes are very different from all other versions available here and on https://github.com/teaqu/youtube-audio-mode and also on https://github.com/Ashish-Bansal/audio-only-youtube, it does wrongly say that https://github.com/teaqu/youtube-audio-mode was the original author, but according to the dates I think that Ashish-Bansal was the original author, but this isn't a big issue so I don't think that this script should be deleted/reported.
If you see/know of similar cases like this, please just report each script involved.
Thank you!

I have seen your BAD comments in both remaining scripts. I just made another one which can give you the true YouTube Audio Mode.

Although I don't know why you need it...

That is mainly because I want to stream live music without the video to save data on the Kiwi Browser, but even if it's impossible to make it work on live stream, it would still help me listen to music without using data for the video.
Sadly it just breaks live stream videos

good grief, how many friggin' versions of this script are there - like 5 or 6 now??
Anyway, like hacker09 and many others, we want this feature because Youtube has been infected by podcasts & audio-logs/diaries masquerading as Videos. We don't need a video loop to listen to what they're babbling about.
@Azazello
He didn't do anything wrong, actually he helped both of us making a version that works, all other versions don't work even the browser extension.
Also for now greasy fork allows having unlimited amounts of scripts with the exact same title and description, but different authors and codes.
As long as the code is different enough or has permission to be republished that isn't a problem.
If the script doesn't work, it needs 3 bad reviews to be deleted, as long as the author doesn't reply or update his script it will be deleted after maybe 2 weeks ish I guess.

The permissive licenses doesn't propagates to the names of the products and it's not legal to have the same name for a similar product.

That's true if you have a trademark but I really don't think these authors have that.
Yh I know, but that is for "real companies" that are going to sue you for using their name, for example, if you name a script with Nintendo anywhere on the title you will likely be sued, because Nintendo is the craziest company about anything related to them, but "youtube audio-only mode" is a very generic name.
Usually, names that will give you a lawsuit are short and popular like Ccleaner, Avast, etc...
And it usually also depends on what your code does.

You don't need to register a name for a trademark for its similar use to be considered illegal, it's for the courts to decide.
I don't think too that these authors would have any chance, just because that their names describe functionality.
Anyway, it's common sense that having the same name on a similar product is not legally safe.
For an example: "Greasy Fork" is not register trademark but you would have very high chance winning an infringing case if someone would make a similar site named as "Greasy Fork" to host userscripts.
It's been a while since we've seen this-- these submissions are actually the same script - their edits, if any, are irrelevant:
What's worse is that each new version doesn't even credit the previous nor original author.
