I use the extension Video Speed Controller to increase playback speed of any audio and video on the internet. But recently (2021) WhatsApp Web started blocking changing audio playback speed.

This tiny UserScript unblocks it, so now Video Speed Controller is working again for me in WhatsApp Web.
