Hover a thumbnail on youtube.com and click an icon at the right: "Not interested" and "Don't recommend channel"
< Σχολιασμός για τον κώδικα YT: not interested in one click
Since it still works for me (in Chrome 117, Firefox 117) I can't say what's wrong. It happens for some people so I guess youtube site behaves differently at random. Maybe you could debug it in devtools and find where it fails.
I am having a similar issue in Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS on Firefox 117.0.1. Checking the devtool console gives me the "No "..." menu button!" error, though the meatball button has loaded and I am able to click "not interested" from there.
And where is this fragment placed in the tree relative to the thumbnail container (ytd-rich-item-renderer)?
i.e. what's above?
No, it's not what I meant. I need to see where this menu is located inside the entry/thumbnail element. The entire hierarchy as in my screenshot.
Thanks.
So, it's the contents of the menu, but I also need to see the ...
button itself, which is in a different spot. You can scroll inside devtools so that ytd-app
is at the top.
1.2.13 should fix this, thank you. Turns out I forgot to check the default mode with inline playback enabled, which I don't use normally.
Both "don't recommend video" and "don't recommend channel" work fine now! Thanks a bunch for this great userscript!
Can confirm, it's all good now. Thanks for the script !
I neglected to update, it started working for me a few days after my post.
Thank you wOxxOm! This script is fabulous. It just makes youtube so much better! After adblocking, this has to be the best youtube improvement. And I use a pile of extensions, filters and scripts on youtube.
Not working? Linux Mint 21.2 Cinnamon (based on Ubuntu 22.04), Firefox 117.0.1, and Chromium 117.0.5938.62.
Disabled all youtube related extensions in Firefox and ublock origin. Using Tampermonkey 4.19.0. Hover buttons do appear, but no effect upon clicking them.
Also checked Windows 10, Chrome 117.0.5938.89 ("official build"), and Firefox 117.0.1. Checked that all browsers, Tampermonkey, and the script is the most current available.
