i don't understand how it works.
i install greasymonkey for firefox
and your script
but nothing has changed

Bummer. It worked fine for me.
The script looks for an editable area in the page regularly and makes sure the editor is setup to respect white spaces and new lines.


It looks like Yahoo! reverted their notepad site to an older version, which made the issue go away.
With any luck, this script won't be needed when they push another update.
