If you've never blogged before, it's hard to explain how important any feedback is. Praise and criticism help you get better. Win-win.

I don't care how many likes a blogger gets or how much money they get for advertising. I only need it to fine-tune Google's recommendation algorithms. If I come across a playlist with videos that I don't want to appear in my recommendations, I dislike them. That is, dislikes are needed for exactly the reason they were created - to express my disapproval of their subject matter, point of view, editing, quality, or interestingness for me personally.
