I don't understand, please elaborate, maybe give an example of a thumbnail url and the full image(s).
On the IMDB homepage, there is a section called "Featured today", but I am unable to zoom and pop out the original images in that section. When you open IMDB homepage, are you not able to see this section?
There's no bigger version of this thumbnail because the link points to a gallery of images. It might be possible to make a gallery rule, but there's no complete list of the images in the gallery's html, only the first 20, the rest is retrieved via API. Theoretically it may be implemented in MPIV, but it might be slow e.g. I see a gallery of 333 images, which means there might be many API requests. Try and find a userscript that works with imdb, maybe it'll help create a rule.
