an almost perfect script, only thing i'm missing is for the shim to be auto selected when the plex webpage loads if thats possible.
it's a tiny inconvenience having to change the player each time i load up plex.
an alternative to plex is Jellyfin which has the option of choosing the default player, unfortunately plex doesnt seem to have that function so if the script could mimic that feature by giving an option to try to automatically choose the shim as the player on the page load would be great.
