- no, too hard to debug
- depends on your programming skill
- find a similar addon with a license that permits derivative works and use it as a base for writing your own one

@wOxxOm - seem to understand what you mean.
Actually when debugging GM script, you should useTools->Web Developer->Browser Console
-- all JS error messages go there and only there.
@trespassersW, comparing to a complete debugger available for browser addons/extensions.
Request for help
Hello I am French,
I run a bit of a "bottle in the sea" to solve my problem.
I wished to make a plug in, add on for firefox, seamonkey, iceape or divert a free translation software.
My project if possible, is to translate directly into the browser of "Newspeak words" (1984) in my native language and colorful.
My problem:
1- Is greasemonkey would be most suitable?
2. If so, what it would not be too complicated to manufacture?
3- If not, would you have an idea tool to achieve my project under the GNU?
thank you very much
